Casino help...

I would like some ideas on casinos -- i go with a farily large group and we have all types -- those who want $5 tables and those who don%26#39;t mind higher limit. To get some better priced tables last year we went to Orleans and Stratosphere. I have heard that Red Rock might be good but its pretty far out? Any ideas of other places we should try kinda off strip? Thanks!

I%26#39;d try downtown. You have lower limit tables and the ability to get to the higher limit ones. Also there quite a few casinos within a short walking distance.

Sam%26#39;s Town, Eastside Cannery, Boulder Station and Arizona Charlies on Boulder Highway.

Gold Coast has friendly dealers and is pretty clean. I like it there.

Terribles would be a great one and not very far off the strip. You can take the 202 Deuce from the side of Ballys on Flamingo and that bus will take you right to Terribles.

You might want to consider Southpoint. They have ample $5.00 tables. The casino is on Las Vegas Blvd. but about 3 miles south of Mandalay Bay.

Thanks for all the good ideas... will definately try some of those out!

My advice... Go downtown to Fremont Street. High and Low tables, should make everyone happy. If you don%26#39;t get a good ';vibe'; where you are, just walk across the street to the next casino, instead of a half-mile! I played $3 craps tables, even though I never bet the minimum! It just felt good to have the option of the lower limit tables! Let us know how you do!

I also think downtown is your best bet. Gold Coast is also an alternative since they have a shuttle (near Bill%26#39;s).

I would only go to RRS if I had a car. Same with Southpoint.

My only concern about downtown is we tried that last year and it was so unbelieveably crowded that people had a hard time finding open tables... we stayed a while and left.. maybe we should give it another try. Thanks again.
