How come I cannot get most menus with the pricing listed? I have googled the restaurants, looked at the hotel site, looked at reviews but I cannot find the menus with prices for some. Does anyone have a list or site they use? Thanks.
Menu Pricing ?
Because then they can change the menu prices as often as they want, without having to update the website.
Menu Pricing ?
So, if I don%26#39;t know how much everything is I%26#39;m just suppose to go and ask to see a menu? It%26#39;s just hard to do prices based on other peoples reviews since we don%26#39;t do alcohol during the meal, or appetizers, or deserts. Oh well, thanks for your help!
what restaurants? I was looking at MGM and Venetien/Palazzo restaurants yesterday, and found prices.
Also, almost every restaurant posts the menu outside the entryway, so you can check %26#39;em out before you go in and ask to be seated.
Maybe try zagat.com, also restaurants listed with restaurant.com have links to websites and menues.
Actually, it%26#39;s a little surprising that *any* restaurants put up menus with pricing, given the volatility of food costs these days - the same reason that even *in* a restaurant you%26#39;ll often see ';market price'; for seafood and some imported items. And of course market oriented restaurants may have different menus on a daily or weekly basis.
Even so, a lot of places do post menus with prices. (e.g. most of the Wynn%26#39;s restaurants) but if you have specific restaurants you%26#39;re interested in post the names - someone may be able to help.
And yes, you%26#39;re supposed to ask to see a menu in the unlikely event that one is not posted at the restaurant%26#39;s entrance.
The reataurant industry attitude toward this question is, ';If you have to know in advance what the prices are, you can%26#39;t afford to eat here.'; I%26#39;m not saying I condone that attitude, but there you go.
As others have said, the menus with prices are almost always posted out in front of the restaurant.
If you are looking for rough prices check yelp or some other review site, you can normally figure it out from that.
Of course most of my dining is all you can eat or comes one a value menu.
usmenuguide.com shows a bunch of menus for las vegas restaurants with pricing for most.
urbanspoon.com is another site you can check out.
';So, if I don%26#39;t know how much everything is I%26#39;m just suppose to go and ask to see a menu?';
A long time ago, before Al Gore invented the Internet, that%26#39;s exactly what you had to do. It%26#39;s still OK to do that. :)
';It%26#39;s just hard to do prices based on other peoples reviews since we don%26#39;t do alcohol during the meal, or appetizers, or deserts.';
Anyplace with more than a couple of reviews usually has comments about prices, or enough info that one can figure out whether it%26#39;s a ';top dollar white tablecloth'; place or a ';hole in the wall'; local place. If you have questions about prices at specific places, just ask. I%26#39;m sure someone here has probably dined there if it%26#39;s a well known spot in Las Vegas.
I found lasvegasadvisor.com to be helpful. They have prices of buffets which are fairly accurate as well as price range for others. I printed the list of buffets and their rating and took them with me on my recent trip. We also ate at non-buffets. TripAdvisor is a good resource for recommendations on specific food type and dollar amount.
