Hi Everyone! I am going Jan 24-27 and I was thinking of going to see Criss Angel. I see tickets thru Travelzoo for a best price of about $38.50pp for the nosebleed seats- do you know if those are the best prices available? Or would it be better to go to the discounters there and get a better price?
Thank you so much! Have learned so much thru reading the forums.

Criss Angel tickets-best prices?
I am amazed if you read the Forum so frequently that you haven%26#39;t seen the many posts saying that the show is awful and a complete waste of money. Here%26#39;s %26#39;s just one thread and nothing has changed. Even most of his biggest fans are totally disappointed and feel ripped off- so the best way to get a bargain would be not to see it at all!

The local newspapers all had very negative reviews as well- some say they have seen better produced shows at tehir home town high school.
Criss Angel tickets-best prices?
I agree with Lulu. I would read the reviews before spending one penny on that show. They have been almost 100% negative. I know that there will always be negative comments about any show, restuarant,etc. but when just about everyone says it is a disaster- beware! Read the reviews first, please.
THanks for your input. I wasn%26#39;t even considering going to a show until I saw the discounted prices today(so i never read thru any posts re:shows before)-when I searched the forum the posts I saw looked older and since I was looking for discounts I didn%26#39;t read any further. I love his %26#39;mindfreak%26#39; show and I guess I assumed the show would be of the same caliber.
I%26#39;m not gonna waste my money. THanks again!
I saw it two weeks ago, and bought the nose bleeds. Before the show we were asked to move down to the first couple rows. The show was 3/4 full, but very easy to move down if you wanted to. The show is ok at best, but I do think it is worth $40 a piece. It is worth watching one IMO.
good to know that you move up if the theatre has empty seats up front.
my mom and i are planning on checking out this show in april... i know the reviews are less than stellar, but we both love criss and if we can get $40 tickets, then why the heck not.
it%26#39;s not a whole lot of money and worst case scenario we just leave early and chock it up to another casino related loss ;)
Actually somethings with the show have changed so lets see what the reports say about it after January 23rd.
From Anthony Curtis%26#39;s Las Vegas Advisor:
';January 14, 2009 %26#39;Fixations%26#39; for %26#39;Believe%26#39;: When Cirque du Soleil bigwigs being talking about post-opening ';fixations'; to their Criss Angel vehicle, Believe, they pooh-poohed the importance of the troubled show%26#39;s much-criticized illusions (or lack of them), alternatively saying there were only a handful of magic tricks one can do onstage and that they could have done 20 ';Mindfreak';-type illusions but simply chose not to. Apparently they have now chosen to do so; columnist Norm Clarke reports, ';Five new illusions are being added to Criss Angel Believe (Luxor) during its break.'; (The show goes went dark Jan. 7, nine weeks into its run, and reopens Jan. 23.)';
I agree Vancouverkitty...';if we can get $40 tickets, then why the heck not.';
My daughter really wants to see him also so if the $40 tickets are still available in March, I%26#39;m going to take her!
I%26#39;m hoping that if we go into the theater NOT expecting a MAGIC show, we won%26#39;t be disappointed and we might actually enjoy it (or NOT...haha!). Either way, for $40, it%26#39;s worth a try!
Part of me wants to see the show just so I can say I%26#39;ve seen all the Vegas Cirque shows and can give an honest informed opinion on which I think is best (sad that I think of the forum when making some of my vacation plans...hahaha) but the other part of me thinks- ';why should I waste an hour and a half of my Vegas time watching something I know is not going to be good.'; I think I%26#39;d have to be drunk and bored....but I%26#39;m never bored when I%26#39;m drunk in Vegas so I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s going to happen....
Evoni - that%26#39;s interesting news. thanks for sharing.
i did have to laugh a little though... criss is currently holidaying in mexico with holly madison, so he%26#39;s obviously not working too hard on the show revamp, lol.
JackandSally, I totally ';get'; why you%26#39;d want to see it, but it%26#39;s going to be like when someone tells you the milk is bad and you grab the carton, take a whiff and say ';Ewww!';. It%26#39;s almost like Cirque didn%26#39;t have a lot of input in this show. You could probably skip it and still not feel like you missed one of Cirque%26#39;s shows in Vegas.
I would only recommend this show to people who are diehard CA fans and are just looking to get a look at him up close. (I just expected better, I guess.)
