Alright I am bored. So what is the dumbest thing that you have done or seen done (that you will admit to) in vegas besides spending and drinking to much
Dumbest thing you have ever done
Paying for a room. Only did it the first time. Haven%26#39;t had to since.
Dumbest thing you have ever done
I saw a guy drop a sandwich on the sidewalk in front of where the old Helicopter ride place (in front of City Center), pick it up, and continue eating it.
Five second rule on that dropped sandwich?
I went to college in Vegas. Where should start................................
On our first trip (July 2003), Sister_Dino (my DW) %26amp; I had a lack of understanding of the scale of Vegas. So we went for a walk. We were staying at Bally%26#39;s, and wanted to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe at the Hard Rock Hotel. So we walked from Bally%26#39;s down Flamingo to Paradise, and down Paradise to Tropicana, and then to the Hard Rock. After dinner, we decided to complete the circle... by walking down Tropiacna to MGM, and back up the Strip to Bally%26#39;s. We were very dehydrated and dead tired.
The same as so many others
Not quitting when ahead $
Well, I don%26#39;t know that this is THE dumbest (see above), but I%26#39;d probably have to say not learning sooner to play max coin. It%26#39;s the dumbest thing I have continuously done in Vegas.
The summer of 2005 we decided that we wanted to go see Zumanity but my DH refused to pay full price for tickets. He looked in one of the mags and saw that there was a half price ticket booth in the Coke store mid strip. We walked all the way from Treasure Island to the Coke bottle at 3pm in 110 degree weather just to realize that Zumanity tickets weren%26#39;t available.
By now I am a little annoyed (because he refused to just by the tickets from TI) and very dehydrated because he is also too cheap to pay for a cab back to the hotel.
We get back to the hotel, buy the full price tickets there and then decide we are going to go to the Fashion Mall next door to walk around. Low and behold the FIRST thing that I see is the half price ticket center less than a quarter of a mile from our room!!
He still has not lived that one down....
I now buy any show tickets before we get to Vegas and in order not to offend his sensabilities, I tell him that they are all $20 each.
Our all-time dumbest was thinking that a loop from Vegas around the south and north rims of the Grand Canyon, and back to Vegas thru SW Utah was a 1-day trip. We were gone 16 hours and were totally exhausted.
I saw a drunk run over by a baby stroller boy was it funny.
