Hey Y%26#39;all......
When you have registered with ESTA (visa thingy),does it run out?
Not sure what happens with it?
We didn%26#39;t have to add any dates that we were going to be travelling,so will it last till Aug when we are due to come or will we have to re-submit?
Thanks...Mrs W.
e s t a..visa thingy..!!!
Hi
It last%26#39;s for 2 year%26#39;s before you need to renew it, unless you need to change any information on it. It replaces the green form you filled in whilst you were flying.

Do you need to carry a print of the reference number or is it automatically linked to your passport?
The online form gives a reference number. It says you dont have to print off the number as it is registered with Homeland Security but it is worth noting it down for when you get there just in case.
%26gt; ESTA (visa thingy)
Isn%26#39;t ESTA specifically for people entering under visa waiver - people *without* a visa?
Yes it is - if you prev had to complete the green card on board/at the airport, then you will now have to complete the ESTA online form instead
To clarify Clive%26#39;s comment regarding time of validity, an ESTA is good for two years or the life of a passport, whichever ends sooner.
Thanks for that...so glad I got it straight....didnt want to turn up and not be allowed in....lol...
I%26#39;ve registered but since doing so i%26#39;ve changed hotel, do i need to update the info,
The Ports of Entry (POE%26#39;s) are currently in the %26#39;warning phase%26#39; if a traveler is non-compliant. The second phase will have penalities involved ($).
Food for thought...
