Quick Trip Report: Encore, Qua, Nobu, Table 10

Just got back from 3 days in Vegas. Everything was great. Dont be scared off by the mixed reviews of Encore - if you like Wynn, you will like Encore, its more of the same. It is a little further walk, but the pay back is newer, larger rooms. We were very happy with the experience. We had no problems to report.

We took advice on this site, and booked massages at Qua (Ceasar%26#39;s) to use their fitness center and mineral baths, and tea relaxing room included with the cost of $140 of our classic massages. We only wished we left ourselves more time for the baths, saunas, and relaxing room. You could easily spend an hour or more relaxing before your appointment here.

Last year I wrote on TA that I thought this location of Nobu was slipping. I am happy to report that it is back and as good as ever. The hard rock was rockin%26#39; the night we were there. It was the most full of any casino that we walked through this trip, and was truly a party for all.

Table 10 was OK, and kind of empty too.

We walked in and out of FIX. The restaurant was half full, but they offered us a terrible table, and when we asked for a better one, told us it was reserved. Then offered us an equally terrible table. It is essentially a dark, loud coffee shop overlooking the casino. Nothing special. Walked over to Prime - were seated at a fabulous table overlooking the fountains, and had a great time there instead.

Well, HRH was definitely busy. Our cab driver dropped us in the lot next door - there was a major jam in front of the hotel.

It definitely got our attention, because the strip was empty. Everyone kept thanking us for coming out to Vegas this trip: taxi drivers, hosts, waiters, etc. Business was way down. Every club in town was handing out cards for free entry.

When the HRH finishes their expansion later this year it should be a nice place.
