What would you do? Encore vs PH

Hello!

So I called to check on that offer by DH got for 3 complimentary nights at Wynn. So they did not have them available at Wynn but 2 of them were available at Encore and then 1 night at the $179 rate.

We have 3 nights booked at PH at $49/night. If we switched to Encore it would come out to roughly $60/night.

Have never stayed at either and always wanted to stay at PH. But, I doubt I will ever get that kind of offer for Encore.

What would you guys do?

Tough call. That is a great rate for Encore. If you don%26#39;t mind being way at one end of the Strip, I%26#39;d go for it. Otherwise, you%26#39;ve also got a great rate at PH.

...the Encore deal is great, go for it...we have stayed at both in the past few months, and the Encore is tough to pass up at those rates....be ready to walk (or cab it) a bit......

well, since the encore is 5 star and PH is a 3 star... so i%26#39;d say go for encore without a doubt.

or do both. take the free two nights at encore and then stay at PH for the last night at $49.

Well, if the niceness of the room matters to you, then hands down, I%26#39;d go with the Encore. We just returned from the Encore and the rooms are GREAT! As mentioned, the location of the hotel isn%26#39;t as good as PH though.

Not sure you are really comparing 2 of the same things. PH is nice but it is not the 5 diamond style and service of Encore. For me I would pay the extra and enjoy every minute of it. But, for others that would not be worth the money.

I know many people talk about the location of Wynn, for me personally I don%26#39;t get it. It is near Fashion Show Mall, TI, Mirage, Venation just across the street, Bellagio. But than I am not real big on walking the strip either. I just cab it or drive.

If the pool matters to you than Encore for sure.

It is going to be a toss up. Location vs quality I guess. I will be discussing it will DH tonight and see what he thinks.

I am sure the $49 PH rates are easier to come by than the complimentary nights at Encore considering that we are not big gamblers at all.
