We spent a couple of nights at South Point our last trip, so I ordered a win/loss statement online and it came in the mail today. I couldn%26#39;t help but laugh.

Total Coin In $3,044, Total Coin Out $3,036, Win Loss -$8.

Eight Dollars! Why do we even bother to go. I could have sent them a check, lol.

Sometimes when I am on a losing streak I feel the same way- why waste time? Just go to the cashier%26#39;s cage and just GIVE them the money!!

But it wouldn%26#39;t be nearly as much fun. lol

Were you able to get anything comped with $3K of play ?

We never win or lose very much, due to the type of low volatility games we play. And most of our trips we don%26#39;t spend much time gambling. But I thought this statement stood out.

Greyhorse: Because most of the money was played at quarter VP we didn%26#39;t earn that many points. And we didn%26#39;t have anything taken off our bill. The $3000 was played over 2 nights (2 1/2 days) so it was like $1000 per day. we did earn enough points to pay for breakfast at the cafe the last morning.

CarolinaSunny: We liked the rooms at South Point very much. We stayed in the new tower, which opened 2 months previously, so everything was still new. The room is 500sq ft (about the same as Bellagio) but it is so well designed that it seemed larger. Very bright and airy. Much nicer than most mid-level strip properties (MGM, MC, Bally%26#39;s etc,) and better than Orleans. We were also very pleased with the dining options. But of course you need a car.

Thanks ktinca for the info on South Point, definitely one of those Ive been meaning to visit and stay at, now I know I will.

why didn%26#39;t your gambling log show your win/loss?

You should keep your own log. Most casino won/loss statements have some caveat such as this on the HET statements
