Anyone been to this show? If so, what did you think, is it fun?
Do any discounts ever come out on this show, or are the tickets always $50?
Price is Right?

has no one been?
Price is Right?
I went to the show a couple of years ago and yes it was fun and I did enjoy it. Anyplace else but Vegas I wouldn%26#39;t dream of going to see something like this but found myself screaming out my ';guesses'; with just about everybody else!
We decided to go on an impulse at virtually the last minute and paid full price at the Bally%26#39;s box office so I%26#39;m not certain about discounts or other deals.
Went to it in 07 at Bally%26#39;s with the wife. Look around at Tix4tonite or at Bally%26#39;s and you may be able to get a buy one get one or a discounted ticket. It wasn%26#39;t bad overall. Not only do you have a chance to c%26#39;mon down, your name is also randomly picked for prizes. All the games are there, including the showcase showdown. A ford focus was offered but no one won it. It%26#39;s a good way to blow a few hours if gambling is getting stale.
I would recommend it as something different to do in Vegas.
I think I want to go too but I heard it isn%26#39;t worth $50 a ticket. Some blog I read said Bally%26#39;s gave a discount coupon once so I plan to go there the day of the show and ask. I also heard that it doesn%26#39;t come up on tix42nt either.
why and when did this show get so expensive, I could haved sworn that when it first started it was about $20-$25??
My wife has been about 5 times, It is never at at discount booth that i have seen and I have never found discounts either. She loves it though.
It was just okay. This was the first show, event, etc. that I have been to in Vegas that I didn%26#39;t think was worth the money. I am a huge fan of the Price is Right and thought that the host did a good job, but I was expecting more entertainment. It was rather short too. The only cool thing about it was that they picked four different people for each game. If you can get the tickets for a discount, then definitely go. I wouldn%26#39;t recommend it at full price though.
My husband and I went just after Christmas and had a good time. They call out around 50 people per show to either participate in the game or give them casino credit. If you like the Price is Right is fun to do at least once. You get a name tag just like the ones from the real show and they actually call out real names...something different to do.
DH and I went %26#39;06. It was just okay - a little on the cheesy side. I was starting to get pissed because I was keying in my answers lightning FAST, and most were correct, but never got called up. (boo hoo) Neither contestant won in the end - both overbid. To sum it up, I would find something better to do with my $50.00.
Can you win stuff on it?
