Stratton, in June and December the downtown mini-megas and activities began before the main event, not after.

I%26#39;m planning on May 26th through June 3rd and of course, staying downtown. I already made a 2 night reservation at the GN with the $39 special for the 26th and 27th.

Stratton, the Mega M%26amp;G is June 2, but Downtowners will be hosting another ';Mega Week';.

Many people replied that they could be in Vegas the week after Memorial Day.

I have to be at my job on June 6 and flights are best midweek to midweek.

Other events will be held on and off the Strip, but we will plan the DT events as interest dictates.

I forgot to add my count.

vegasvarment, during the summer Mega there were no activities the week before the main event, only that weekend before.

My problem is that I may not be able to be there on the 1st and 2nd, so I would either have to come the week before or the day after.

VV, these are the dates I will attempt to get off work. Because I have had trouble getting home from Vegas, I assume I will be forced to take a shorter week off. I am pushing for 7 days, but know that any activities that we plan can go on without us for a day or 2. I am so glad you are going for the week too.

Sally, are you thinking about joining us in some DT activities after your conference days?

Stratton, I%26#39;ll be there the week before, will arrive in Vegas on either May 26 or 27th with my husband for 3-4 days. I%26#39;ll stay on when he leaves, I%26#39;ll leave either June 3 or 4th. I%26#39;d be up for something starting Sat or Sunday and possibly before. Prob is, we stay off strip and will be either at GVR or at the new M resort for the time my husband is with me.

From either Sat or Sunday before the Mega, I%26#39;ll probably be somewhere on the strip (thinking Harrah%26#39;s, Flamingo, or Bills unless I can get comped at Mirage). I have also not ruled out staying DT. If Istayed DT, would most likely choose GN.

Yeah, I%26#39;ll be free at night (and by my lonesome) so I was planning on cabbing it to wherever the people are :)

Gabby, I have always wanted to try some off strip lunch buffet using the ACG. If I can persuade VV into taking us on May 27 or 28, we could do lunch. LOL

Stratton, we always start our Mega Week as soon as any Forum friend is in town.

In June, VV picked us up at Ballys on Thursday before the MEGA , gave us an off strip tour including GVR and Silverton, and delivered us DT in time to meet up with Supershe at MSS Triple 777 Pub.

In Dec, we literally checked in the hotel, walked across the Street to Fremont, and shared a delightful seafood buffet with Supershe, who got to Vegas before us.

I love these weeks and hope everyone who wishes to try some new or old things with other TA posters will participate in the MEGA Week!
