Hotel with best pool area

Looking for great location, decent price(considering MGM Grand %26amp; Plant Hollywood)but want the best pool area and outdoor drinking. Planning on long weekend, late April, three couples. Heard that Monte Carlo just remodeled their pool. Suggestions/comments? Thank you.

Hotel with best pool area

well everybody knows that the Hard Rock has the best hotel pool in the world esp with Rehab on sunday%26#39;s but that is kinda far away....... try the Mirage... they have 3 pools including one that is called Bare---yes its topless. same with rio. they do same thing.... called Sapphire there though... but yes Rio has 3 pools also

Hotel with best pool area

i would suggest either the flamingo or mandalay bay.

both have excellent pool areas. the flamingo is nice and large with beautiful landscaping, but the pools themselves are just standard pools.

mandalay bay has a wave pool, a ';lazy river'; and sand on the ground instead of the normal pool deck. so it%26#39;s really something different from what you normally see.

i would say to stay at mandalay bay of pool is a priority, and visit the flamingo pool one day. it%26#39;s open to the public for free everyday after 2pm. (the only hotel on teh strip that does that)

Hi! I am staying at the Mirage in july! I am glad to hear it has a great pool. I read you need to make reservations for sunloungers in advance? Is this true?

those chase lounge for rentals usually come with ur own cocktail server if u are interested in reserving anything....look to spend a lot of money if u do that. otherwise just show up everyday and grab an open one lol

I love the mandalay bay pool. its great. beware of the wave that can make you battered and bruised when you hit the shore!!!

I like the area around the lazy river at mgm grand and the fact the hotel has lots of different pools.

Didnt like TI pool, too small.

Excalibur, perverts with cameras on the multistorey carpark.

Another vote for Mandalay Bay - they have a great pool scene (although when I was there at the end of last April, it was kind of chilly out and the pool was pretty empty on a Friday, so take that into consideration as well).

Since you have three couples, consider getting a cabana - you get a place to leave all your stuff (including a mini safe which comes in really handy) plus a fridge stocked with soda and water (we brought down a small bottle of rum to mix with the sodas and our waitress was happy to bring cups, straws, and limes over). MB is also fun because they have the beach-front casino, which is really cool to check out.

There are a few special offers for MB depending on your dates, so check fat wallet and the other offer sites and see if anything applies for your dates.

My vote would go to the MGM. Awsome pool area with a huge lazy river and great drinks. Buy the souvinier (sp) size frozen drink for around $25 and refills are only $10. Went last summer and saved the cup for this years visit.

I think I am going for the last option ;-)

We are staying for 9 nights... so we will need to watch our wallets a bit :-)

Can you recommend some good sites to check general info on Vegas?

mgm has a party called Wet Republic too similiar to Rehab

Palms pool does something like that on Fridays called Ditch also

Hi again! Good to know :-) We are planning to go to as much poolparties as we can!

Which nights are good in which clubs?
