can any tell me if it is possible to get tickets for headliners at the 1/2 price ticket booths?

eg elton john or bette midler?

Im thinking its a pipe dream but if anyone can let me know it would be greatly appreciated.

Bette, Cher and Elton definitely no.

There have been posts on here saying that Barry Manilow tickets are sometimes at the booths. Not half price, perhaps 20% discount.
