Encota San Marco

Is this restaurant really as bad as all the negative reviews? I%26#39;m staying at the Venetian I can get a restaurant.com $25 cert. for $4 and wondering if it%26#39;s worth it or should I skip it.

Encota San Marco

I don%26#39;t read the TA restaurant reviews (sorry TA). I have eaten there three times and love it. It is not for the red sauce lots of food types. It is much more like gourmet northern Italian.

With a restaurant.com coupon, you really don%26#39;t have much to lose.

Encota San Marco

I thought the food there was fabulous. Our server was very attentive, although he was a tad bit condescending when it came to cheese of all things (apparently he knows he cheese and we are mere amateurs hahaha) but that didn%26#39;t bother us much. It%26#39;s definately worth a visit.

I had a wonderful experience there. Our server was as friendly as could be and incredibly knowledgeable, it has a nice atmosphere in the Grand Canal Shoppes, and Mario Batali%26#39;s moderately-priced small plates of various regional Italian dishes are very good. With a restaurant.com coupon, I%26#39;d say it%26#39;s definitely worth a visit!

People seem to love it. Personally, I didn%26#39;t enjoy my meal there, although maybe that was just an isolated meal that was so-so.

life is my vacation described it much better than I did. If you are expecting spaghetti and meatballs, veal parm or the likes, you will be disappointed. For that go to Casa di Amore.

What are the pizzas like? I love real Italian pizza but have trouble getting them outside of Europe.

Was also thinking about Casa di Amore. Is this more American Italian rather than Italian Italian? If that makes sense.

Totally agree with damama. I loved Enoteca San Marco, but it%26#39;s Italian, not Italian-American. I would definitely use that coupon if I were you. I am not one to be impressed by celebrity chefs, but it%26#39;s a good place. I did try a pizza there - an ordinary Margherita - and I was surprised at how tasty it was. This place is all about quality.

Casa Di Amore is a better choice for traditional Italian-American fare. Good food, large portions, warm atmosphere.
