Harrah's Marketing Department, what would you ask?

If you could ask Harrah%26#39;s Marketing department anything or give constructive feedback, what would that be?

Harrah's Marketing Department, what would you ask?

Many times when an Offer appears under www.harrahs.com very little details are given, this has been when I am signed in under my Player Acct #.

For instance, a Resort Credit Voucher for xxx, but there are no details where/what You can spend that on. Do You present it at the Check in desk to be applied towards charge-backs to your room at the end of your stay, or give it to a cashier at a restaurant/shop? Just an example of not enough information, so a phone call needs to be made.

Concert details: Might be a Fri, Sat, Sun weekend offer to include tix to Garth Brooks, etc, and the date of the concert is not listed.

Just a couple of examples of what I can think of at the moment. However, I think MGM-Mirage has great need for improvement. Clicking on www.playersclub.com and signing on to your acct, it doesnt typically provide any details about the offer, just their name for it, i.e. Spring Offer, and a span of dates ';it'; can be used.

So Harrahs in that regard at least gives a 2 line detail about their offers.

Thanks, that is interesting, I think I would ask why europeans don%26#39;t even get any offers by email! I have been a total rewards member for 9 years or so and have yet to receive even 1 email from them, that sort of ignorance means that I do not have any loyalty to their brand and that I wouldn%26#39;t necessarily stay at one of their resorts over another.

Sometimes it isn%26#39;t about the price, it is about customer service.

I would ask why especially in these times do they change their requirements for platinum, diamond, etc.

I would also like them to value VP players as much as slot machine players.

bhlister, this probably wont make You feel any better, but I rarely get emails from Harrah%26#39;s, the only way I know of offers is to sign in at their site.

Ive found checking online to be much more dependable than waiting on one of those direct mailers to arrive via snail mail which is hit %26amp; miss. Ive heard that Harrah%26#39;s doesn%26#39;t mail to the UK, since that%26#39;s the case, they could at least use email to announce offers!

Is there an inexpensive way to phone their Marketing/Player Dev office, and request for them to email You? That%26#39;s a lot of years of loyalty You have with them!

You have set up a pin # to access any offers online, havent You?

No ';if'; - you CAN ask these questions - and any others.

Just as with any company, they will listen and review questions and comments. You may not get the answers you want, or get them immeidtaely. HET may or may not make changes based on feedback. No matter, a customer CAN always ask questions and provide feedback, companies encourage this - providing more than 1 way to do this.

Send a letter or e-mail and they have your questions and concerns in writing.

That%26#39;s an easy one ... I would ask, ';When was the last time that HET made a decision that didn%26#39;t first take the interests of the shareholders into account rather than the employees or customers?';

I would expect to get a blank stare back in response.

Thanks Bridge,

Yes you can ask, but I thought I%26#39;d maybe gather a few before I speak to them about my own gripes.

I would tell them thanks for the ';free'; rooms. I would also be honest with them on why I ';burn'; them on room offers and play elsewhere: Because they treat blackjack players terribly in Las Vegas. I have three nights ';comped'; at Paris next month but that%26#39;s only because of my play at HET riverboats where they offer decent blackjack.

I would also ask them why they even bother with the different card tiers. It%26#39;s quite insulting sometimes. It also has no bearing on the types of offers you get. There are some ';Gold'; players who get better offers than Platinum or even Diamond.

I know that they do read emails for feedback from experience, but I%26#39;ve only ever emailed them to provide a positive experience. I encountered two great pit bosses in the past at the Flamingo whom I wanted to recongnize. They must have told them because I since had an email from one of them thanking me for my feedback.

However, I would ask why sometimes an offer or ';comp'; may appear to be better when I go through the reservation link instead of through my offers for the same dates. Makes me think they want me to work more to find the best deal. I%26#39;ve mostly gambled in Vegas and AC, but once or twice per year over the last few years in Lake Tahoe. I wish they%26#39;d give players a way to rank perhaps where they would prefer their best offers to be from if that makes sense.

I%26#39;m a platinum member.
