piano, jazz or blues bars help please

Hi all -- well -- boy am I finally getting excited for a reason. Our trip to vegas is now just under 6 weeks away -- I started planning at the 6 month marker and that was way too far out but I just couldnt help myself..

okay so we are going to be a group of 7 between the ages of 42 and 65 and I would like to find a place for at least one of the nights we are there where we can all meet up for some cocktails and some really nice ambiance before we head to dinner or off to a night of some good gaming - just a place we could all meet and have drinks and enjoy our selves to catch up and just have some calm fun ( i save my wild self for later in the night LOL)... this will be my third trip to vegas and I am just not seasoned enough yet to know where to go -- I am also needing to know hands down the best breakfast in town..

There is a nice lounge in Bellagio beside the main lobby called the Baccarat Bar. There is nice music provided by a piano player. I haven%26#39;t gone into the lounge myself but it looks nice. I%26#39;ve sat in the lobby different times to listen to the pianist performing and they were excellent.

thank you -- I was aware of this place but have not been - I have only actually walked through Bellagio 2 times but plan on exploring better this trip -- I will keep it in mind as one of our choices...

Hands down the best breakfast in town is Tableau at Wynn. Beautiful setting, wonderful menu, and outstanding service. But we are talking about a restaurant, not a coffee shop or cafe. Expect to spend $50 per couple.

A small step down, but still excellent choices, are Verandah at Four Seasons and Bouchon at Venetian.

Best one I have seen is Bacarrat bar in Bellagio. Very nice. My favorite breakfast is Bellagio buffet. Not a huge fan of buffets, but really like the breakfast here. Great food, great service, nice atmosphere.

Yes, the piano player at Baccarat Bar plays soft jazz and standards. Sometimes there will be a bass player too.
