So how many casinos had fireworks on July 4th?

After all the discussion the other about Vegas not showing as much patriotism as other cities, I am curious to know from those who were in Vegas on July 4th if you noticed fireworks and thought the day was celebrated in true USA fashion.

Did anyone see a parade that day?

had a pancake breakfast then the parade in boulder city as for fireworks we supplied our own had a little fire but we were prepared and had it out quickly

taco....LOL!!! As hot and dry as it has been, I hope there weren%26#39;t any serious fires. (hadn%26#39;t thought about that)

well we took out one huge stickerbush but nothing else there was a fire at a portable school classroom but it wasnt that bad this year

I am sure there were lotsa indoor fireworks! but on the Strip...hmmmmm...not so sure:)

My son moved to Vegas a year ago, at the end of June 2006. He went to the strip expecting a huge 4th of July fireworks display...........guess what? There were none!

We watched a 30-40 min fireworks display from our hotel window.

We wondered if the Hilton put it on as it was behind their golf course.

We were at the HGVC at the LV Hilton over looking Paradise road -- it was beautiful - we could see other fireworks going off in the distance all over the area.

Were the Bellagio fountains anything different than usual? Colors, etc? We have seen/heard the Lee Greenwood song at the fountains everytime we%26#39;ve been in town - it is one of my favorites.

I%26#39;m sure LV has plenty of patriotism. people live everyday in LV - the locals don%26#39;t live on the strip or near downtown casinos. I%26#39;m sure plenty of neighborhood parades and local events - just like most places.

Not having fireworks on the strip is more a function of safety than anything else. Not many places have the room - you need lots of wide open space. With the casinos and parking lots there is no place to set of a large display.

I wouldn%26#39;t expect a parade or fireworks in the tourist areas.
