MGM Signature Towers or Encore at the Wynn?

I posted on here a while ago about the MGM Signature and was all set to book there, but have noticed that there are some brilliant deals about for the Encore at the Wynn, so now I%26#39;m undecided - anyone been to both? Which would you say is better?

I%26#39;m going in May for my husbands birthday, so it will just be the two of us and wanted a really lovely hotel as a nice treat for him.

I%26#39;ve stayed at the Signature, but not Encore (it would be my preferred hotel for my next visit though).

I loved the Signature, but would say that the Encore is another couple of notches up from there.

I think that the Wynn is easily the nicest hotel on the Strip - that%26#39;s just from visiting/eating/gambling though - not staying as a guest.

Personally, I think Encore is the one to go for.

They will both be lovely, no doubt. The only small thing that stops me from staying at Encore and a more regular hotel room now is that I love having coffee available in the morning, and the Signature has a really convenient set up with a kitchenette. We always end up bringing our restaurant leftovers back to our room, and enjoy being able to have snacks and make cocktails there. We find we have a gorgeous hotel room, and spend a lot less money overall on our trip that way.

However, that%26#39;s just me, many folks could care less about that, and the Encore looks incredible, and the rates are great...

Thanks for your replies. To be honest the kitchen is the one thing that is stopping me booking Wynn. But I%26#39;m not entirely sure if I would even use the kitchen ha ha. Does anyone know if the Encore%26#39;s have minibars in them at least?

The Encore should have a minibar that provides snacks, sodas, etc., all for a price. Don%26#39;t pick up anything if you don%26#39;t plan on buying it, usually these things are automatically charged to your room.

I%26#39;m concerned about leaving it to late because Ricky Hatton is scheduled to fight the weekend that we are there and I%26#39;m sure that once that is officially confirmed the price of all hotels will go up considerably.

stayed at the Signature 3 times and love it. When is the Hatton fight ? Looking to go myself !

What price is the Encore ?

We%26#39;ve never stayed at either but our next trip, we are staying at the Signature. Our decision was based on the kitchen at the Signature.

The Hatton fight is scheduled for 2 May. We arrive on 1st May.

I saw a website that had the Encore for ￡770 for the week the other day and the Signature was ￡835, but they have gone up slightly today and the Encore is now coming in at ￡805, but that is better than another website where I saw they had it for ￡2000!!!

I%26#39;ve only ever stayed at wynn hotels in Vegas (once at the Wynn, and Once at Encore) and thats for a reason.

The small, exclusive service you get is Far better than any coffee you can brew in a hotel kitchen.

Trust me. Encore all the way.
