Hello! I will be staying at Harrah%26#39;s March 20-25. I have never been to Las Vegas before and appreciate all the tips I have gathered from this forum.
If anyone has a particular room that they found fabulous would you please share the room number. I, like most, don%26#39;t ask for too much...just a great view, quite, as big as possible, the most comfy bed, and most importantly, clean....that is all.
I have read that some rooms have balconies. Which are they?
I appreciate all the help and suggestions! Thanks a bunch!
Kate

If my memory serves me well, I believe that the Mardi Gras rooms are a little bigger but you may have noise problem due to it under the Carnaval Court unless you got a room on the top floor.
Carnaval are in front %26amp; the rooms are on the quiet side of the casino.
I don%26#39;t remember our room so I can%26#39;t help you there but we had a fantastic stay there. The rooms are clean with very comfy beds %26amp; lots of great choices in where to eat plus great nightlife, great casino vibe, friendly staff, great CW service %26amp; great location on the strip.

Thanks for you helpful information!
I have stayed at Harrahs multiple times and the Carnival rooms I have had were always a larger then the Mardi Gras ones. The balconies spoken of are the Mardi Gras rooms overlooking the pool, but they are not useful balconies.
If you want a view then you must book a premium room with a view. The Mardi Gras rooms have been most recently renovated, but the Carnival were only finished about a year ago. Mardi Gras rooms have the flat screen tvs in the rooms and bathroom in mirror tv, while the Carnival do not.
I have never had a dirty room at Harrahs, but once had a bad room and just went back down and asked to be moved.
Hi Kate,
DH and I have stayed in many different rooms at Harrahs. We have been in the Mardi Gras Tower, as well as the Carnaval Tower. There are different rooms of different sizes. They are all clean. I don%26#39;t have pictures of the executive suite or junior suite on my computer, (Hubby does that part for me) from 2007, but I do have one or 2 from Oct. 2008. It was a simple, functional room in the Carnaval tower. We even had a fridge sent up. The front desk clerk asked if I needed it for meds. I just couldn%26#39;t bring myself to lie. He decided to comp me for it (there is a daily charge if not needed for medication), as there were no upgrades available. I think the truth may have helped too! Quite refreshing I think. We did have a Jr. Suite in the Mardi Gras tower on the 8th floor overlooking the pool once. We were on the end closest to Carnaval Court. If the balcony door was open, you could hear the music. Once it was closed, we were very surprised not to hear much at all.
We find all staff very friendly and helpful at Harrahs. If you go to Harrahslasvegas.com click on hotel overview. Then click on virtual tour. You can see some of the room types there. I hope this helps. Have fun.
Good Luck!!
