I have an opportunity for a free room and need to choose from the following:
1. Harrah%26#39;s premium room advetised as new bed/new t.v.
2. Bally%26#39;s Deluxe supposedly in North tower
3. Flamingo Luxury GO room
I think I have read too much and now have reached paralysis by too much info. We just want something nice, clean, no smoking. Any help would be appreciated on the pros/cons.
First trip in 6 years-NeedHelp on choosing Harrah's propertyI like the convenience of Bally%26#39;s being connected to Paris, and we loved the Paris buffet for breakfast.
Carnival Court is a fun place for live entertainment and right next to Harrah%26#39;s.
We aren%26#39;t pool people but if you are , we have seen the pool area at the Flamingo, and it%26#39;s beautiful. When do you plan to go to Vegas since the pool wouldn%26#39;t be a factor if it%26#39;s too chilly.
At any rate if I was going to choose (and could guarantee a renovated room in the Mardi Gras Tower), I would select Harrah%26#39;s.
First trip in 6 years-NeedHelp on choosing Harrah's propertyPersonally I would choose Ballys if it is a north tower room. The location is the best IMO and the room is huge and redone nicely. I found it nicer than my parents room at Paris.
But I agree if the pool is your thing, then Flamingo wins hands down.
Harrahs rooms are smallest, nondescript pool.
Actually, I always find Bally%26#39;s to be more %26#39;smokie%26#39; than the other options - although they have the biggest rooms.
Based on the three you list, I would choose the Flamingo Go room.
I too like Bally%26#39;s. Great rooms and great location!
Thanks for the responses- since this is an early March trip, the pool is not really a factor and I am sure we will visit the casinos along this area...I am mostly interested in the opinions on the rooms since the descriptions of the renovations all seem to be different.
Ballys
Ok if pool isn%26#39;t an issue, I personally would eliminiate the Flamingo. The staff was great, their casino is so-so, the GO room we had was good, but I%26#39;ve read today and remember from our stay that the thermostats are motion controled, and our room was warm and stuffy at night.
The bathroom didn%26#39;t have a door and had frosted glass on the wall by the door to the room...it has been discussed here on the forum. We weren%26#39;t really bothered by any of that but other posters here didn%26#39;t care for it.
We are all different here, so we are all going to give you our pros and cons...but you need to choose the one that is most attractive to you. If you are like the rest of us, you will be in Vegas again so keep in mind that you can try another one your next trip :)
I would pick Harrahs premium room. Their rooms have been more recently renovated then the other two.
I love the location of Harrahs and what it has to offer around it. You can go from Casino Royale to Venetian to Wynn and onto TI in the blink of an eye. It offers something for everyone.
