List of restaurants w/outdoor seating & people watching

....on the strip; between Mandalay and Wynn.

These are the ones I know that are great for people-watching:

~M.A.G. at Paris (best)

~Maggiano%26#39;s at Fashion Show

~Roof at Margaritaville (sort of; depending on seat)

~Trader Vics

Here are the few nice places I know with a great pool/outdoor view:

~Verandah at Four Seasons

~Country Club Grill at Wynn

~Olives at Bellagio

Would you care to add to the list please?

Also, I really wish there was a place that had mellow music and food in the afternoon; (not LOUD and rowdy like Carnaval Court) Does a place like that exist?

Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY has a small outdoor seating area.

Not on the Strip but a great Downtown people watching spot is a coffee place (I think Starbucks but I%26#39;m not 100% certain) at Golden Nugget with a patio that directly overlooks Fremont Street.

Thanks! I love outdoor dining and was going to research this very topic. There is also a finer dining restaurant at Caesar%26#39;s that has a patio in the pool area - I can%26#39;t recall the name. If memory serves me correctly, it%26#39;s only open for dinner. I look forward to see more responses!

Diablo%26#39;s at Monte Carlo. Outdoor seating right on the strip.

Diablo%26#39;s; I forgot about that! Haven%26#39;t been there yet. Last Sunday a visitor and I wanted to just sit out in the sunshine in the afternoon and kick back, listen to some music, and people watch. (We were also hungry) We did check out Nine Fine: there was no outdoor seating available, (and M.A.G. was packed).

Is it just me, or don%26#39;t ya%26#39;ll think that if someone were to offer some combination of easier-listening music than Carnaval Court, sun, and some yummy food in the afternoon, that it would do well? Even if it was just in the spring and fall...

Thanks for your ideas everybody!

We%26#39;re looking for one more element. Since there is no %26#39;dog friendly dining%26#39; in Vegas, we%26#39;re looking for a spot where we can dine outdoors, possibly w/space heaters, and park very close to the outdoor dining area so the pup can see where we are. I know, it%26#39;s indulgent; we rescued him last year and he has a lot of separation anxiety. But that%26#39;s not the point here.

Any restaurant ideas?

(and by the way, does the health department think all that smoke in the casinos is less harmful than Rover sitting at someone%26#39;s feet while they dine outdoors?)

Most all places at Town Square and The District GVR.

At TS, Brio and Tommy Bahama are best.

At the District, Kennedys, Kings Fish House ans Al%26#39;s Garage.
