Signature through VRBO??

I%26#39;ve read some posts in this forum regarding booking through VRBO. I have found what looks to be a decent deal on a Jr. Suite at about $108/night for a week in May at Signature. Any thoughts on this facility and this particular rate? It looks like a wonderful place and it is not a problem that it doesn%26#39;t have a casino or is not right on the strip. I%26#39;ve learned a lot perusing this forum. Thank you very much! P.S. Is it in poor taste to ';make an offer'; for a privately owned property such as this? Thanks again.

If you%26#39;re talking about the MGM Signature it%26#39;s a fabulous facility..right next to the MGMGrand and I would definitely consider it to be %26#39;on%26#39; the Strip...You might inquire of the Sig about its rates for such a room for comparison...That rate sounds awfully good to me...I have friends who own a condo there but I don%26#39;t know what the rental rules,etc., are for them...If you mean you would like to make a lower offer, well, i don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s in poor taste..In this economy it might work but you also might just lose out...The Jr. Suites are large rooms with sitting areas ...The facility is luxurious...Rates vary by location of condo and also the popularity of the week in Vegas...ie, higher demand week equals higher price....good luck...

It is definitely not in poor taste to make an offer. For our stay at the Signature we compared many different VRBO listings in reference to: tower, floor, view, balcony, guest feedback, etc. When we found the listing we were interested in, we negotiated a better price to include the taxes, daily resort fees, room cleaning, etc. Good luck!

We recently stayed at Signature through a company called Luxury Suites International. We found them through a Craigslist posting, and we were pleased with their rates, professionalism, and service.

Thanks so much for the replies. I%26#39;ve just about convinced myself that if I buy some groceries and eat a few meals in the room and lazy around by the pool(s) that I can save enough $$$ to justify the difference in price.

Pettyfan....if you searh your title, you will find numerous posts by myself! Just make sure you ask all the necessary questions prior to booking and you will be okay :)

I%26#39;ve used VRBO three times for the Signature. Twice with a Company called blue Chip Vegas, and once with Luxury suites. both companies were very professional and I had no issues with either one. You do want to make sure that daily housekeeping is included as well as the resort fee. I just booked a Jr. Suite through Blue Chip for 652.00 for 5 nights, all inclusive of the above. My rate was a little higher because I requested a higher floor and a balcony (I got 36th floor balcony with strip view)
