Going in July 2009 - Mirage hotel

Hi ! My boyfriend and I are in our mid twenties and going to Vegas for the first time in July 2009. We are staying at the Mirage for 9 nights. We are visiting Vegas after a 10 nights stay in Cabo.

What do we need to expect in Vegas? What about the hotel.

I really like visiting hotels in general, so that%26#39;s what I am planning to do in Vegas. Just staying for one day by the pool, restaurants,... Which hotels are worth visiting? Is there a resort fee in everyone of them?

What about the club scene? Which clubs are recommendable? What about the cost to go out?

The Mirage is awesome. Me and my husband always stay there. April will be our 5th stay. Mirage is in a great location. You can walk practically to all the other hotels. The pool is great. It will be really really hot in July!! (which is how I like it!) so be prepared for the heat!

Mirage is a nice property. As said it will be hot in July. Pool will be crowded, go out early before it is to hot. Pool water is cooled and feels nice. Mirage is a good location to walk to many other hotels. TI, Wynn, Bellagio, Venation, Paris are all near by. Carry a bottle of water with you and all times.

You can visit any of the other properties, they want you to eat and gamble there. No fee for that. You cannot however use their pools. Those are for each hotels guests. They will check your room keys.

There are many clubs with different costs for different nights of the week. As it is your first time to Vegas you mat want to think about doing bottle service 1 night. It is expensive but good one an experience.

I think Mirage will be a nice choice for your trip. You will be surprised at how walkable and safe the Strip is at any time of day or night. From Mirage, you can easily walk to about a dozen hotels and casinos.
