I imagine Saturdays are pretty busy and we have tickets to the 9.30 showing of KA. Where would be a good place to eat prior to going. Staying at the Bellagio so anywhere between there and MGM not bothered what it would be and say up to $150 including a couple of drinks and tip.
Saturday night at Ka
The wife and I went to KA about a year ago and ate at the Wolfgang Puck that is right in front of the Box Office/Entrance to the venue. We had %26#39;will call%26#39; tix and had to wait until a certain time before the show to pick them up and didn%26#39;t want to screw around searching for a place and risking being late.
We enjoyed it. There were 6 of us total and we shared about 5-6 apps and had some drins as we didn%26#39;t want full meals. The location was perfect for the show obviously as we could see when people started to line up before the show. Can%26#39;t remember the exact bill but I think each couple tossed in $60 or something. You would be at or below $150 unless you get lots of drinks!
If you plan ahead the sky is the limit for dining options from Bellagio to MGM.
Oh... and when you get seated in the theater before the show starts... look up. Trust me. :)
Saturday night at Ka
When I had ';Will Call'; tickets I had up to an hour before the show to pick them up. You should be able to get them anytime before that, not just a particular one.
Have fun at the show. It%26#39;s great.
I was told by the Box Office when I purchased our tickets for ';Love'; that I could pick up our tickets at any of the MGM-Mirage brands. You could even pick them up the day before at Bellagio since Youre staying there, might save you some time. The Rep said that was the case for any of the Cirque Shows at all their properties. Rep also recommended that I pick up our tickets way before show time, as many people do wait up until the last hour, and the lines are terribly long.
I can confirm that you can collect the tickets at the Bellagio
Yes, you can get them at any MGM property. You can also pick them up at the MGM airport check-in desk at Terminal 1. I%26#39;ve done that before to save time.
Perhaps a dumb question, but I%26#39;m a LV novice.
What other properties are owned by MGM? I have tickets to pick up before Friday...
Going to 9:30 Ka on Wednesday and plan to eat at Casa di Amore and then head to MGM. I mapquested it and it%26#39;s not that far. We have a car though. I%26#39;m sure the limo would pick you up and drop you off there though.
travelingurl: MGM%26#39;s hotels are: MGM, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, Mirage, Circus Circus, Monte Carlo, New York New York, they just sold Treasure Island but at the moment it%26#39;s still under MGM%26#39;s umbrella. There%26#39;s City Center but it%26#39;s not open yet.
Yes, Saturdays will be busy...I second the recommendation to eat near the theatre...We went a couple of years ago and had a birthday dinner at Bouchon at the Venetian beforehand....The resto was slow service that night due to too many private commitments from their kitchen (:(....And two of our party were 20 minutes late to the dinner due to a long golf outing in Henderson and traffic on the way back....So, instead of a leisurely meal with three courses we rushed thru two (as much as we could)and thankfully, grabbed a limo to get us there on time...Not fun thinking we were going to miss the opening of the show ....
