Airport Transfers

Just looking to book to go to Vegas in October. Virgin are offering a free car in the deal but we are only there for 4 nights so don%26#39;t want to do this. We can pay Virgin £7 per person their transfer from airport to hotel or we can arrange our own.

How easy is it to get a taxi at the airport?

It is very easy to get a taxi from the airport.

Taking a taxi is better than a transfer, with the taxi you will go to directly to your hotel and with the transfer you%26#39;ll have to go to every other casino for the others to be dropped off.

Do not use the transfer. Sometimes you have to wait a long time before the shuttle fills up and then you may not be the first to be dropped off which means you will be taking a tour of the backs of hotels. Most people want to get to their hotel and start their vacation as soon as possible.

It is very easy to get a cab in Vegas. They will be lined up right outside the door. The lines may seem long but they move very quickly. Depending one where you are going- it might be cheaper to take a cab.

My husband and I have vowed never to use a shuttle again. On our first trip we stayed at Bellagio and bought a transfer from Coach Grayline with our package (from Tripres) because we didn%26#39;t know any better. We waited in a long line, got crammed in a shuttle that was filled to the brim with people. Luckily we were the second stop. We had never been to Vegas so we just thought that everyone took the shuttle. Our next trip was starting at THEhotel. We took the shuttle and it was in July. We stood in a line in 115 temps for over 20 minutes, then got crammed into a full shuttle. This time we were the second to last stop, only one couple (staying at the Four Seasons) was after us. We had to go to MGM, Monte Carlo, NYNY, Tropicana, Luxor, Excalibur, and Mandalay Bay first. We wasted the first hour and a half of our vacation at least. We have been taking limos every since but I%26#39;d take a taxi if my budget needed me to. No more shuttles!
