Could you explain what this machine is or looks like? My interpretation is a vending machine that sells fruit, but I would think that it would be difficult to maintain.

Thankfully not. There are a good few three-reel slot machines but nothing offering the type of running bonus or hold options (that I%26#39;ve seen) that we have. The fruit machines here are pathetic in comparison.

Slot machine, but yes in the uk also know as fruit machines. I think because of our original slots featured cherries, oranges, lemons etc.

As for english style, video slots are big but there are still many reel machine. Bonus rounds are a lot different, and you will also not find hold buttons.

As said above, plenty of typical USA slots but none quite like the UK Fruit Machines (One Armed Bandits, Puggies etc)

There are no holds and no nudges. There are loads of machines with bonuses though, but again they are a bit different to the UK ones.

Please dont take this the wrong way all my american friends...... but your %26#39;slots%26#39; are really made for slot monkeys !

In the UK our %26#39;fuit machines%26#39; require the user to nudge or hold his reels.

Steve you are right in one way and not in another.

US Slots ARE designed for slot monkeys - all you need to play them is the intelligence to put a coin in the slot and press a button.

Our UK fruit machines are a lot more entertaining but you have to be pretty well versed in to all the nuances of the various machines in order to maximise winnings. If someone with no idea what they are doing played a fruit machine in a pub you are basically throwing your money away (loading the machine up for someon that does know what they%26#39;re doing).
