Venetian - valet parking

We%26#39;ll be arriving at the Venetian with lots of luggage en route to skiing in Mammoth. I%26#39;m toying with using the valet parking service. How much does this cost? Sorry if that%26#39;s a dumb question but its not a service us Brits use that often.

valet parking is free in Vegas (at least I%26#39;ve not found a hotel that charges), you just have to tip the valet.

Valet is the only way to go. Almost every casino hotel offers free valet, just tip the person who brings you your car back about $2. The valet should coordinate the bellhop who will bring your bags to your room. Expect to tip the bellhop about $1 per bag (more for heavy bags).

When you go casino-hopping always use valet even if you are not staying there. The valet may ask if you are checking in, but only to arrange a bellhop for luggage. Some parking garages are half a mile from the front of the casino.

Valet can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights, but so do the parking garages.

Usually, the tip comes when the vehicle is returned to you, not when you drop it off.

Live large, just pull up to the front, hand the keys over, take the ticket (don%26#39;t lose it), and take your bags with you. Or get the bellhop to help with the luggage. Only costs a couple of bucks tops to use this service in Vegas. Many big city hotels in the US charge $25/night for valet parking!
