Favorite Harrah's hotel and why

Going to LV in March - the Harrah%26#39;s Friends and Family offer is a really good deal.. But I can%26#39;t decide where to stay. Right now there are rooms available at every property from 45 - 75 per night. Wondering, what is your favorite Harrah%26#39;s property and why?

Favorite Harrah's hotel and why

Well, I have visited all of the Harrah%26#39;s properties, but stayed only at Bally%26#39;s, Flamingo, and Imperial Palace (not really, but let someone use my comped room, so went up and saw the room, etc.) For some reason, I just don%26#39;t love Caesar%26#39;s Palace. I have seen Elton John there, visited the Forum shops, and enjoyed the outdoor drinks near the corner where Bellagio, Caesar%26#39;s, Bills, and Bally%26#39;s sit. They have a decent food court for a quick bite. Harrah%26#39;s has been a fun place to gamble as I walked from place to place on the strip.

Finally, though, I think Flamingo is my favorite, but only when I get a GO room with view. It is fun and campy, and I like the scent inside the casino. It seems hopping inside, and I have always been able to find some games I like. They also have a great pool, and it is kind of fun when you stay there, if you have been up late enough that it is starting to get light again, to walk through their wildlife habitat. Very tranquil. It is pink.

Bally%26#39;s isn%26#39;t bad, and it is fun that it is connected via walkway to Paris, and having a theme place nearby is kinda cool. If you can get a good price for a GO room, though, I recommend Flamingo.

Favorite Harrah's hotel and why

If I HAD no other choice except to stay at a HET property it would be Caesaer%26#39;s. It is clearly the nicest of the group. We were there the day it opened, have seen the nice long drive with fountains and statues go, the many additions and changes and, horrors, the decline of the property when HET bought it. Business is business, it was a good deal.

Was once the best on the strip and fabulous. It is without question the best of HET.

I have only stayed at IP once and never again, hated the long trek through the casino to get to the elevators, among many, albeit minor inconveniences, just didn%26#39;t care for the feeling of the hotel.

Have stayed at Harrah%26#39;s for 18 or so trips and love it there, great customer service, good dining and entertainment options (The Range, Toby Keith%26#39;s, Carnaval Court, Duelling Piano Bar, to mention a few), very clean and comfortable rooms, as well as easy access to the strip. To us it just feels like our home in LV!

I can%26#39;t comment on any other HET properties but I%26#39;m sure others can give you some insight on the pro%26#39;s and con%26#39;s on the rest.

Have a great trip which ever one you choose!!

Caesars is my favorite Harrah%26#39;s property because of its history and its great restaurants and amenities. I wouldn%26#39;t however consider staying in a standard room.

After that I would opt for the Rio.

Caesars is by far my favorite, I love the Augustus Tower, like the restaurants, the sportsbook is nice and big, like the bars. Paris is the only other HET property I%26#39;d consider staying at (in a red room.)

Thanks everyone - very interesting reads!

Primarily, we just stay where we get free nights. Up until just recently, we stayed most often at the Flamingo, but now we are beginning to get comped night offers at Caesar%26#39;s as well, so I think we will return there. It has been about 10 years since we received free nights at Caesar%26#39;s.

Have stayed at Caesar%26#39;s, Paris and Rio. My favorite is Paris - for atmosphere, nice rooms, great service. Rio%26#39;s rooms were great but not in the location I would like to be. Caesar%26#39;s pool is fantastic and their rooms were great, didn%26#39;t like the casino or atmosphere of the hotel.

The PARIS...I LOVE the theme and I think the Parisian decor is AMAZING! Not only is the hotel beautiful but the casino has a great atmosphere, the location is perfect (directly across the street from the Bellagio Fountains), the breakfast buffet is delicious and Napoleon%26#39;s Lounge is my FAVORITE place to spend an evening (the duelling pianos are fantastic!)!!

Id have to say Ballys for the Price, but only in a North tower room. they are very large and clean with great bathrooms. The rooms at Paris were fairly small and were very expensive. Harrahs rooms are decent in the Carnival tower. Didnt like Flamingo, have not stayed at Caesars.
