How long does taxi take (Airport to Bellg) 5.30 Sat arrival?

My Kiwi husband is visiting Las Vegas at the beginning of March arriving 5.30pm on a Saturday. How long would it take hime for a taxi ride (Airport to Bellagio) at that time. I understand that%26#39;s a v busy time but it%26#39;s unavoidable. Any tips would be much appreciated! Thanks.

The cab ride is very short... 10 minutes or less, unless the cab drivers drives the whole way up the strip. If your husband wants to get there quickly he can just tell the driver he would like the quickest route. Now, I don%26#39;t know how bad the line will be to get a cab. Whenever I arrive, it is usually on a Sunday at about 9pm, so not bad at all. If he thinks he would like a car for while he is in Vegas, he might try to go through Thrifty or Dollar and sign up for dollar express or blue chip in advance. Then, once he arrives and gets his luggage, he can take a quick shuttle to the car rental facility, pick up a car and be on his way.

Basically as long as it takes. Depends on trafiic and route Could be 10 minutes using the tunnel and I-15 or 30 minutes using surface streets when the strip is a parking lot.

in the past when i%26#39;ve taken a taxi to the bellagio it takes about 10 minutes and is under $20. usually about $15 or so plus tip.

I would suggest *NOT* asking for the quickest route as the last time I did that the cab driver took the tunnel and it cost $26 compared to the usual $15-$18. It didn%26#39;t seem to save much time either.

Maybe say ';quickest route that does NOT use the tunnel.'; :)
