Okay, this restaurant is #2 on TA for Vegas. Therefore, I bought a $25 cert. for $4 (60%off) at restaurant.com. and plan to go there while we are in Vegas next week. We have a car so we plan to drive. Now, is it worth a trip? I%26#39;m hearing mixed reviews from you all. If it isn%26#39;t going to be memorable, I%26#39;d rather go somewhere else. Good service, good quality food, and cozy atmosphere is really important to us. We don%26#39;t need fancy and we don%26#39;t like fine dining. Opinions please.

Is it fine dining? No. Is it a really enjoyable meal that is a good deal when you have already saved $21 (about the cost of one entree) and don%26#39;t have to pay to get there? Absolutely.

If you have the time, I would go. If you have a lot of money to spend on meals and just not enough time, skip it.

To give you an idea of where my taste in food lies for you to decide if I know what I am talking about, here is a list of our favorite places.

Rosemary%26#39;s - go each trip

Mesa Grill - have been a couple of times and love it

Enoteca San Marco - really like it and go for a lighter meal, usually pre-theater.

Delmonico - husband and sons like it more than I do but it is pretty good.

Michael Mina - delicious meal

Sensi - love it

We went last time and we are going back this time. In fact, I%26#39;m determined to make this a must-do for every trip. Definitely go, especially if you%26#39;ve already bought the certificate. If you don%26#39;t want to drive they have complimentary limo service. Just be sure to tip the driver. Enjoy!

CDA is a must do for us. It%26#39;s good, classic, Italian food in a nice setting (very comfortable, but certainly not foo foo).

Given how you describe you likes I%26#39;d say you will love this place!

If you%26#39;re only going to have one dinner in Las Vegas go to Alize, but if you like an Italian trattoria menu and ambience that oozes ';cozy';, friendly service and an ';experience'; than the Casa will fit the bill. It can best be described as a neighborhood gathering place where regulars go to hoover down some Calabrese cuisine. A place that%26#39;s Straight, clean and simple and won%26#39;t break the bankroll.

The parking area in the back is monitored by security cameras if you%26#39;re dining late and are wary of the neighborhood (which you really shouldn%26#39;t be).

Eat hearty, goomba!

We thought the food was above average. The atmosphere is what we loved, not stuffy at all. They make you feel like family. Also, some of the regulars are not to be missed. I would love to hear some of their stories.

We%26#39;re leaving day after tomorrow (yay!) and also have a restaurant.com cert for Casa di Amore. Plan to go Tuesday or Wednesday evening for dinner.

We haven%26#39;t been before but looked at the menu and info on the website http://www.casadiamore.com/ as well as comments here and are looking forward to it. We also are renting a car and are staying at MGM so plan to drive, too.

I was dissapointed but am going to give it another try.

Food was a but burnt when it camme out and was served 30 seconds after we had finished our starters

we love CDA and go every trip old style vegas good traditional food live entertainment and good service use the limo service kinda adds to the whole experience.its not fine dinning by any stretch.

Given your requirements for a good meal, I think you will enjoy yourselves. Our overall experience was good, not memorable, though. The reason we probably won%26#39;t go back is that there are so many less time consuming places to eat on the Strip. When we were finished with dinner, we had to wait for Johnny to come back with the limo because he was picking someone else up. It was only about 15-20 minutes, so not the end of the world. Casa is nowhere near fine dining, and not fancy, but I would say it%26#39;s %26#39;comfortable%26#39;. We%26#39;d just like to experience somewhere different on future trips given the amount of money we spent. Have fun!
