Luxor room question

I have friends in town next week who have booked here. I have not been in a room here for many years. Which rooms are nicest? What area/floor should they ask for. Thanks in advance for any help.

Luxor room question

I haven%26#39;t been in awhile but don%26#39;t forewarn them about hitting their head on the angled windows.

Wait until you talk to them and ask if they looked out the windows. I think everyone I have talked to has and banged then head. Then you step back and see all the head marks on the window. Amusing.

Luxor room question

I stayed at the luxor last year in march.

We stayed one night in the pyramid room and the rest of the nights in the tower.

Both rooms were nice enough.

The tower rooms were newer and brighter but further away to casnio

The pyramid room was fine we moved because of friends traveling with us needed to move from their room because the carpet right outside the room was lifted and my friend kept triping and was afraid to fall.

The rooms are basic clean and we thought comforable no issue with noise.

don%26#39;t expect 5* think more 3* and you won%26#39;t be dissapointed

Thanks for the info. The friends staying there are budget travel people. I booked them at Wynn for $100. a night, not a good enough deal. They got Luxor for $100 for all 3 nights. They won%26#39;t expect luxury.

So in your opinion are the Tower rooms better if you don%26#39;t mind a walk?

The pyramid rooms at Luxor have not been renovated since the hotel opened in 1993. Luxor did renovate the pyramid room bathrooms in 2001 but didn%26#39;t touch the rooms. The Luxor Towers opened in 1996 and have not been renovated since they opened, but these rooms are bigger, newer, and also have better bathrooms than the pyramid.

I think Luxor for a while was charging $20/per night extra to stay in the tower rooms last year, but I am not sure if they are doing this now.

Luxor used to be one of my favorites. Luxor has renovated alot of their casino, along with the nightclub(LAX), restaurants, and casino lounges and all look quite nice, so if you visit your friends at Luxor it should be a nice atmosphere.

Luxor was supposed to renovate their rooms late last year but it was put on hold.

I stayed in the Luxor%26#39;s Tower Rooms and really liked them. We were given a room with a jet tub...we were told they were standard in the Tower, but not in the Pyramid...after a long day walking I LOVED the tub. I think I enjoyed the Tower more because you could end up in the Pyramid lower rooms and hear more of the casino noises and at 3pm when the check-in crowd comes (no kidding...were were in line for an hour) it also gets noisy.
